Twelve coloured pearls are enclosed in a sealed tube (current
model has heart-shaped cross section and is even more beautiful than
the one above!).
The tube has four compartments. The ring shaped walls that separate the
compartments
have holes big enough for the pearls to pass through.
The challenge is to rearrange the pearls so that each compartment contains only pearls of one colour.
To many people it looks an impossible task when they see the pearl
puzzle the first time,
but most of them quickly learn to solve it.
